Language Services Associates (LSA) would like to thank all who made Philadelphia’s World Meeting of Families (WMOF) a success. As an exhibitor as well as a sponsor, we were proud to represent Philadelphia as a welcoming city, one in which language diversity is safe and encouraged.

LSA’s team had the pleasure of meeting families, clergy, government officials, corporations, media, and non-profit organizations that made up approximately 15,000 attendees from around the world. The team also welcomed their share of delegations from South America, Central America, Nigeria, Congo, Senegal, Zimbabwe, The Philippines, and Europe.

Our mission, ‘We help people’, was never more realized than when explaining to a WMOF attendee how we assist those affected by the latest migration trends. “The experience left me feeling like an ambassador for Philadelphia and LSA,” said Joe McGrath, Interpreting by Telephone Team Lead. “We were able to convey our mission to help people with visitors from all over the globe. I met people from Argentina, Colombia, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, and more.” Christine Wood, Vendor Procurement Coordinator, was equally positive: “I had the opportunity to meet bilinguals from across the globe–primarily Spanish and Vietnamese. I am glad I was able to be part of this!”
