Language Services Associates Announces New Three-Year Contract with Bayada Nurses for Interpretation and Translation Services

Horsham, Pa. (August 13, 2010)Language Services Associates, Inc. (LSA), a global language service provider offering a full suite of multicultural solutions, announced today that it has been awarded a three-year contract by Bayada Nurses to provide interpretation and translation support to its 170 office locations.  Under the terms of this agreement, approximately 12,000 Bayada employees, including nurses, home health aids and therapists, will have immediate access to LSA’s Interpreting by Telephone (IBT), Face-to-Face Interpreting and Translation and Localization services.

With INTERPRETALK®, LSA’s premier telephonic interpreting service, the Bayada staff will be able to access a qualified medical Interpreter in over 200 language offerings in just seconds.  Face-to-Face Interpreting services may be used for critical medical situations and to meet the needs of Bayada’s deaf and hard of hearing patients.  LSA’s Translation and Localization service will be used by Bayada on a case-to-case basis, such as the translation of a Bayada Care Plan to meet a patient’s specific language need.
