Language Services Associates proudly serves the Deaf community
As an active organizational member of the national Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID), LSA’s independently contracted American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreters abide by the industry recognized standard Code of Professional Conduct, which includes an adherence to the standards of confidential communication. We are proud to offer RID certified and non-RID certified American Sign Language Interpreters to meet your specific needs. Clients with specific certification requirements are encouraged to inquire about our network of federal court, state court, and Consortium-certified Linguists.
All American Sign Language and Deaf Community requests are handled by our Department Manager, Suzanne Dunleavy, CI, as part of the Face-to-Face Interpreting Division. Suzanne has more than 16 years experience working in the Deaf Community, first as a direct service provider and manager in vocational services and, more recently, as an educational and freelance certified Interpreter. In addition, she has coordinated and instructed a number of American Sign Language classes, and designed a curriculum for teaching ASL to elementary school children. Suzanne holds a Certificate of Interpretation from the national Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf.
