When deciding to make the switch to Language Services Associates (LSA) we were attracted to the low cost per minute language interpretation and the availability of Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community. Particularly appealing was the 30 day trial period where we could use the product and allow our staff to “weigh in” on the service. After receiving excellent reports from our staff members, we decided to make the switch to LSA. The Windsor Police Service is the first in Ontario to offer VRI through LSA. All we needed to go live with VRI was a personal computer, network access and a 2 mega-pixel camera; there was no expensive equipment to purchase. There is a cost savings compared to face-to-face interpretation and the service allows us to offer on demand access to interpretation 24/7. The staff at LSA are excellent to work with and I would definitely recommend LSA.”

Our client and family were very satisfied with the ability to have a live sign language Interpreter at their fingertips. The cart followed the patient from entering our hospital, to discharge, to post op and the quality was fantastic. Cost savings are another plus.
